Airport and Seaport Projects

ORA has worked on plenty of projects, both air and sea. We have worked closely with Port of Seattle for many years, Sekisui Aerospace (Renton, WA), and many small contractors working in/around the ports.

Scroll below to see some of our recent port work.

We understand that port projects often have extra requirements (badging, security clearance, time tracking, expense tracking, etc.) and are well prepared to provide quality service for your next port project.

Pier 66

Seattle, WA // 2017

The Pier 66 project was a $30 million renovation from a 49,900-square-foot museum, retail, and marine-related office to an expansion of the Port of Seattle’s Pier 66 passenger terminal.

Service Tunnel Renewal Project

SeaTac, WA // 2020

This project involved updating the earthquake performance of the service tunnel which runs below the arrivals drive up to SeaTac airport.

Airport Dining & Retail Infrastructural Modifications

SeaTac, WA // Ongoing

This $11 million project involves providing two new air handling units and ductwork to the new Airport Dining and Retail restaurant spaces on the north and mezzanine levels of the Central Terminal.

Interim Westside Fire Station

SeaTac, WA // Ongoing

This $5.5 million project involves construction of a new full functional shelter for the Fire Department’s Aircraft Rescue Fighting (ARFF) trucks and equipment, and the necessary living quarters to accommodate four (4) shifts of five (5) fire fighters each shift.

Safedock Upgrade & Expansion

SeaTac, WA // Ongoing

This $29 million project involves upgrading and expanding the current Safedock systems at SeaTac Airport.

“This is to forward the Port’s appreciation for the hard work and cooperation that resulted in the successful Footing concrete pour this week. Thanks for your help and support!”
