St. Luke’s Community of Christ Classroom Addition

Location: Federal Way, Washington

This project involved construction of a 14,400-square-foot, two-story classroom building and a new accessible covered drop-off area. The main floor of the addition consists of a generous lobby gathering space and conference center style Great Room with seating for 280, which can be divided into three classroom spaces with operable walls. The lower floor includes a licensed daycare with five classrooms and a central activity room.

Services Provided:

ORA was engaged to provide geotechnical shoring design and construction monitoring services, as well as structural special inspections and materials testing. Our testing and inspection of work included the following items:
